Late last night I was digging around looking for a replacement to our flash interface and I came across an incredible collection of javascript visualizations. Here are some design issues with the current cloud:
- tag visibility
- the motion makes clicking hard
- the requirement of flash (mobile)
I began reviewing 3D javascript utilities at Java by example. Leveraging a combination of these utilities I can come up with a quick and easy to use interface to our user, tag, and trending link data. Note that not all of these tools work with the requirements I'm considering (unless there's a pause button).
